Como humanidad hemos alcanzado grandes logros es distintos ámbitos; conseguimos aumentar la esperanza de vida de la población, iniciamos una carrera espacial en busca de respuestas que nos indiquen que no estamos solos en este universo tan vasto, sin embargo, y tristemente aún no hemos podido concientizarnos que el cambio climático nos ha alcanzado, y que nuestra supervivencia depende de las acciones que tomemos hoy, sin lugar a dudas, no podemos esperar un día más. La abeja melipona es una de las especies que encontramos en riesgo y a título personal la iniciativa Bee2be está sentando las bases para la conservación de estas amigables abejas en el sureste mexicano. Tomando como inspiración a este peculiar insecto que nos dota de miel sagrada y de la flora de la región, esta es mi propuesta con la que estoy participando en el concurso Bee2be by Epson 2022.

As humanity we have achieved great achievements in many fields; we managed to increase the life expectancy of the population, we started a space race to find out if we are not alone in this universe so vast.  However, and sadly we have not yet been able to make ourselves aware that climate change has is a major problem, and that our survival depends of the actions we take today. We can't wait another day. The melipona bee is one of the species that we find ourselves at risk and personally the Bee2be initiative is laying the groundwork for the conservation of these friendly bees in the southeastern region of Mexico. Taking as inspiration from this facniating insect that endows us with sacred honey and the flora of the region, this is my proposal with which I am participating in the Bee2be by Epson 2022 contest.
