Inspirado en la Ceiba, el arbol más sagrado que posee la cultura maya, ha sido y es hasta el momento uno de los simbolos más importantes de su cultura. La inspiración es un fuerte llamado a cuidar a estos arboles no solo por considerarseles sagrados, además son parte del ecosistema de la abeja melipona y uno de los pilares clave de su ciclo productivo, en tonalidades negras y rojas, resaltando detalles de las espinas es como profundizamos en la reflexion que significa tener conciencia sobre lo que mañana puede desaparecer. Todo lo que hagamos en nuestro entornos provocará impacto directo en la melipona que tanto deseamos preservar.

Inspired by the Ceiba, the most sacred tree of the Mayan culture, it has been and is until now one of the most important symbols. My inspiration is a strong call to take care of these trees not only because they are considered sacred, but they are also part of the melipona bee ecosystem and one of the key pillars of its productive cycle.  Highlighting the details of the thorns in black and red tones, we delve into the reflection of what it means to be aware of the precious things that may disappear tomorrow. So much of what we do as humans will have a direct impact on the melipona that we so desperatle need to preserve.
